Oh no oh nooooo!

No new roommate! Ohhhhhh.....I was so looking forward to having this girl be my new roommate and friend,but she has decided to move to TO for a better job. So back to www.craigslist.com I go in search of another roommate. Luckily my rent is cheap enough that I should be able to cover it on my own (again) for February.

I called my call center today to see if I could start the new project,but they have no work for me just yet,so I'm still on "vacation" to bad it wasn't in Florida or Mexcio or somewhere there wasn't any snow. This has been one long "vacation" from both my nanny job and call center job,a whole month now! Next year,hopefull I'll be debt free and be able to actually go somewhere!

New year,new job,new roommate,new routine.....

So Happy New Year! Nothing to exciting happened on New years Eve,the usual thing movie with a good old friend and some take out. It was a good ending to another year though.

I'm at a new call center doing a fun survey for Health Canada as well as the nanny job. So I'm going to be quite busy as soon as I start back to work.

The new roommate? Well I thought I'd never find her. Just as I was about to give up she sent me a short message saying she was also a vegetarian! Yes!!! How great it will be to have another vegetarian here!!!

Tonight was tough and so was the other night when I worked late! People were getting so mad at me for calling them at a late hour. I don't think they realize that it isn't my fault that I'm calling so late and that it's my boss/the company/the law that says we're allowed to call and do surveys between 9-10pm. I personally find it rude for people I don't know to call me after 9pm,especially to do a darn survey about something that I either don't care about or politics! So I've learned that the earlier shifts are much,much better and that I should try and take my break right about the time people start yelling at me for calling so late. That way I can stop getting yelled for at least 15 minutes! I got that tip from my supervisor ;)

I'm still searching for the right nanny job and have some leads. I had to tell a woman that I would NOT be arranging to meet with her again though. She flaked out on me 3 times all ready! First she didn't call to confirm our meeting so of course I didn't meet her. Then when we were going to meet she calls me at the last minute to tell me to meet her at a resto near her house,that she decided to go for dinner! No way! I'm not meeting you at a resto where my tummy can grumble for food that I can't order b/c I don't have money and also it's aloud place to have an interview! Besides I'd really like to meet you child before I agree to anything! Today was going to be the last chance I gave her,but again she didn't call to confirm anything! So I actually called her to let her know I wouldn't be meeting her at all and that I'd be looking elsewhere guess what? She hung up on me!!! Oh well!

So Sunday morning I slept it since I didnt' have to be at work until the afternoon shift. My phone rings and normally I don't answer b/c it's for my roommate and she wasn't even town this weekend. I get out and go across the room to answer it and guess who it was?

It was the very same market research company that I just started working at and they wanted me to do a survey! We both had a good laugh at that and I didn't have to do a boring survey about politics,gas prices and banking!

In the 9 months that I worked at the other market research company I never once got a call from them and now this one calls me in the first few weeks! How funny!

The End of Summer

Well it is technically the end of Summer but today was a pretty nice day. I didn't sleep to terribly even though at 4:25 am I just about gave up on sleep altogether . Work went much better the normal even though I had to discuss all the 3 "hot topics" politics,religion and abortion! I did well though and made the quota and earned a whopping 6 Amex points!
